How we think about home care
Most of what happens to your skin happens when you are not in the chair. A course of peels or microneedling is a handful of appointments across a few months; the routine you use in between is running every single day, and it is usually the difference between a result that holds and one that fades. That is the entire reason this shop exists.
We organise it as four steps, in this order: cleanse, treat, hydrate, protect. That is not our invention. The professional collections we carry are numbered that way by the people who make them, and it is a useful order because each step has one job. The cleanser prepares. The serum is where an active ingredient actually does something. The moisturiser keeps the barrier able to tolerate the serum. The sunscreen protects what the other three built, and our treatment aftercare says so on almost every page.
Medical-grade means stronger, and stronger cuts both ways. Retinol comes in graded concentrations for a reason, hydroquinone is a clinical decision rather than a preference, and a routine with four new actives introduced in the same week is the most reliable way to conclude that active skincare does not suit you. We would rather sell you two products that fit than five that argue with each other.
And if a product will not help you, we will say so. There are things in this catalogue we would talk most people out of. Ask before you buy, bring the routine you already have, and we will tell you what is worth keeping.
