Every one of the points below would be wrong if you swapped another town name into it. That is the test we hold this page to.
Kettleby is a hamlet of a few hundred people with no grocery store, no pharmacy and no clinic of any kind. Every errand is already a drive, which changes the calculation: twenty minutes north to Bradford is not an inconvenience when fifteen minutes south to King City is the baseline.
The Happy Valley Forest sits directly beside Kettleby and is one of the largest remaining hardwood forests on the Oak Ridges Moraine, protected by the Nature Conservancy of Canada. If you live here you are outdoors a great deal, and outdoors is where sun damage comes from.
Cardinal Golf Club is on Jane Street just south of the hamlet, which means Kettleby's summer population includes a lot of people spending four hours at a time in direct sun with a cap and nothing else.
Kettleby is in King Township, which has no medical aesthetics clinic anywhere within its boundaries. Schomberg, Nobleton and King City are all in the same position.

When everything is a drive anyway
Kettleby has a few hundred residents, a school, a village hall and no shops. There is no pharmacy, no grocery store and no clinic. Living here means the car is not optional, and it means that the twenty minutes north to Bradford is not really a longer trip than the fifteen minutes south to King City for a loaf of bread.
That is the whole argument for this page, and it is a genuine one. Distance means something different when the baseline is already a drive.
The route
Kettleby Road east to Jane Street, north to Highway 9, then Highway 27 north across open country to Highway 88, and east through Bond Head into Bradford. About twenty minutes.
If you are on the Bathurst side of the hamlet, Bathurst Street north runs unbroken to Highway 88 and takes about the same time.
Living beside Happy Valley Forest
The Happy Valley Forest sits on the Oak Ridges Moraine directly beside Kettleby, one of the largest surviving hardwood tracts in the region and protected land. Cardinal Golf Club is a few minutes down Jane Street. This is an outdoor hamlet, and outdoor hamlets have a skin profile.
Cumulative sun exposure across the nose, cheekbones, ears and the back of the neck is the pattern, and it is the one that becomes visible in the forties rather than the twenties. It is treatable with BBL broadband light, CO2 resurfacing and a properly assessed home routine. It is treated best in the low-UV months, so autumn and winter are when to start.

How do I get to Bradford from Kettleby?
Kettleby Road east to Jane Street, north to Highway 9, then Highway 27 north to Highway 88 and east into Bradford. About twenty minutes. From the east side of the hamlet, Bathurst Street north is roughly the same.
Is there anything closer?
Not in King Township. Kettleby, Schomberg, Nobleton and King City have no medical aesthetics clinic between them. Newmarket and Aurora are the nearest alternatives to us and both are further from Kettleby.
I golf most weekends. What does that do to my skin?
Four hours of direct sun with a cap does very little for the cheekbones, nose bridge, ears and the back of the neck. Over years that becomes pigmentation and texture change. BBL and resurfacing treat it, and both work best started in the autumn.
Do you have Saturday appointments?
Yes, 9am to 4pm. Fridays too. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays we run to 7pm.
Is parking free?
