03 · Keswick, specifically
Things that only
apply to Keswick.
Every one of the points below would be wrong if you swapped another town name into it. That is the test we hold this page to.
Everything in Keswick is on The Queensway. It is the spine of the town, and it means residents are used to a single strip for shopping and services. Medical aesthetics is one of the things that strip does not carry, which is why the nearest real options are Newmarket or here.
Keswick has no hospital. Southlake in Newmarket is the referral centre for the whole of Georgina, so residents already accept a twenty to thirty minute drive for health care as normal. This is that drive, in a slightly different direction.
The last section of the route crosses the Holland Marsh on Yonge Street. It is flat, straight and empty, which is why the Keswick drive feels shorter than the map suggests.
Keswick is a lakeside town with a large seasonal swing. Sun coming off Lake Simcoe between Willow Beach and the Keswick shoreline produces exactly the pigmentation pattern that BBL and CO2 resurfacing are for, and there is nowhere in Georgina to treat it.
04 · The long version
Why Keswick clients
make the drive.
Georgina drives for health care already
There is no hospital in Keswick. When something needs a doctor rather than a walk-in, Georgina goes to Southlake in Newmarket, and that has been true for a generation. So the question is not whether Keswick residents will drive twenty-five or thirty minutes for care. They already do, routinely, without thinking about it.
The question is only which direction.
The route people do not think of
Most Keswick residents mentally file Bradford as far away, because it is in Simcoe County and the drive is not down Yonge or Woodbine to Newmarket. In practice it is around thirty minutes: Queensway South, Ravenshoe Road west, Woodbine down to the Queensville Sideroad, west to Yonge, then north over the Holland Marsh into Bradford. The final ten kilometres across the marsh are flat, straight and almost traffic free, which is why the drive lands shorter than it looks.
If you would rather stay on divided road the whole way, Highway 404 south to Green Lane and west is the alternative. A few minutes longer, no back roads.
What Keswick comes for
Two things dominate.
The first is laser. Laser hair removal and BBL broadband light are not available in Georgina at a clinical standard, and BBL in particular is what a Lake Simcoe summer calls for. Willow Beach, Jackson’s Point and the Keswick shoreline all deliver reflected UV, and reflected UV is what puts pigmentation on the tops of the cheeks and the chest.
The second is having someone medically qualified assess the skin before treating it. Our Medical Director, Alex Dinovich, is a Nurse Practitioner. That distinction matters when what looks like a sun spot needs a second look before anyone points a laser at it.

Questions we get
from Keswick.
What is the best route from Keswick?
The Queensway South, west on Ravenshoe Road, south on Woodbine, then west along the Queensville Sideroad to Yonge Street and north into Bradford. It is about 30 minutes. Some people prefer Highway 404 south to Green Lane and across, which is a little longer but all divided road.
Is there anything closer in Georgina?
For laser and device-based skin treatment, not really. Georgina has beauty and spa services, but the clinical end of the menu is not covered locally, which is why Keswick residents already drive to Newmarket or here.
Do you do laser hair removal on all skin tones?
We assess your skin type at consultation and choose settings and device accordingly. We will tell you honestly if we do not think laser is the right answer for your hair and skin combination.
Can I do a course of treatments without driving up every fortnight?
Laser hair removal and most laser courses space out at four to eight weeks depending on the area, not fortnightly. We will map the whole course at your first visit so you can plan the drives.
What are your hours?
Mon, Tue and Thu 9am to 7pm, Wed 9am to 5pm, Fri and Sat 9am to 4pm, closed Sunday. The 7pm evenings are the ones Keswick commuters usually want.
