Things that only
apply to Holland Landing.
Every one of the points below would be wrong if you swapped another town name into it. That is the test we hold this page to.
Holland Landing is the closest community to us that is not in our own municipality. Yonge Street runs north out of the village, crosses the Holland Marsh, and arrives in Bradford. Ten minutes, one road, no turns until you are here.
The anchor in Anchor Park is a genuine artefact, hauled up from the Holland Landing wharf and left where it stopped in the 1810s because the war it was meant for had ended. Locals give directions by it. It is a useful reminder that this village was a port before the marsh was drained.
The Rogers Reservoir and the East Holland River trail system run along the edge of the village and connect north towards the marsh. It is a walking and cycling community, which means a lot of accumulated sun exposure on faces that spend hours outdoors between April and October.
Holland Landing has no clinic, no pharmacy strip and no aesthetic services. Everything is either south into Newmarket, about ten minutes, or north into Bradford, about the same. There is no closer option in either direction.
04 · The long version
Why Holland Landing clients
make the drive.
The causeway
There is one road between Holland Landing and Bradford and it is a good one. Yonge Street leaves the village heading north, drops onto the flat black soil of the Holland Marsh, and runs dead straight across it. Nothing to stop for, nothing to turn off at, and on the far side you are on Holland Street East in Bradford.
Ten minutes. Possibly less at nine in the morning.
That makes us close enough that the calculation changes. A skin tag you have been ignoring for two years, a milia you keep picking at, a consultation you have been meaning to book: none of those are worth a forty minute drive, and all of them are worth ten.
Anchor Park, and what the village used to be
Holland Landing was a port. Before the marsh was drained it was the head of navigation on the Holland River, and the enormous naval anchor sitting in Anchor Park got as far as the wharf before the War of 1812 ended and nobody needed it. It has been there ever since.
Worth mentioning because the geography still shapes the village. The Rogers Reservoir trails and the East Holland River paths run north from here, and this is a community where people walk and cycle a great deal between April and October. That is excellent for almost everything and hard on skin. Cumulative UV across the nose, cheekbones and the back of the neck is the most common thing we assess in people who live here.
What we would suggest
If you have never had a skin assessment, start there rather than with a treatment. Alex Dinovich, FNP-PHC, is our Nurse Practitioner and Medical Director, and an assessment with a nurse will tell you what is sun damage, what is texture, what is age and what needs watching rather than treating.
From there, BBL broadband light handles pigmentation, CO2 laser handles texture and resurfacing, and a properly built home routine handles more than most people expect.

Questions we get
from Holland Landing.
How close are you really?
Ten minutes. Yonge Street north out of the village, across the marsh, into Bradford. It is one road and there are no turns until you reach Holland Street.
Newmarket is also ten minutes. What is the difference?
Direction and parking, mostly. Newmarket means Yonge Street traffic and a shared lot at the far end. Bradford means an empty causeway and our own lot at the door. Beyond that, our Medical Director is a Nurse Practitioner and our device list runs to CO2 laser and Morpheus8.
Do you do quick appointments?
Some things genuinely are quick. Skin tag removal, milia removal and a neuromodulator top-up are all short appointments. At ten minutes away, those are worth booking rather than putting off.
What are your hours?
Mon, Tue, Thu 9am to 7pm. Wed 9am to 5pm. Fri and Sat 9am to 4pm. Closed Sundays.
Do I need a referral?
No. Book directly online, by phone on 647-333-6805, or by text.
