04 · The long version

Why Angus clients
make the drive.

The honest version

Angus is forty minutes from us and twenty from Barrie, and Barrie is directly in between. Every med spa in Barrie is closer to your front door than we are. If you want a Botox appointment, a facial or laser hair removal, book one of them. That is the truthful answer and it is the one we would give you on the phone.

This page exists for the narrower case where the extra twenty minutes buys something real.

What the extra twenty minutes buys

Combined naturopathic and aesthetic care. Dr. Erica Vriend, ND, works from the same clinic as our nursing team. If your skin concern has a hormonal, digestive or thyroid component underneath it, that conversation happens in the same building as the treatment rather than as a separate referral to a separate practice.

Pelvic floor strengthening. It is available in very few clinics in this region. It is non-invasive, you stay clothed, and it runs as a course.

A Nurse Practitioner as Medical Director. Alex Dinovich, FNP-PHC, can assess, diagnose and prescribe. For medical weight loss and prescription-level skin protocols, that means one appointment instead of an appointment plus a trip to your family doctor.

Borden, and treatment plans that move house

Angus is a Borden town. Postings move families in and out on a military schedule, and one of the specific problems that creates is a half-finished treatment plan that started somewhere else, sometimes in another province, sometimes with a product or protocol we would need to look up.

Bring the paperwork. Product names, doses, dates, and who administered it. We will assess where you actually are rather than assume, and we will tell you if the right answer is to stop and start again. That is not the answer anyone wants after a posting, but it is sometimes the correct one.

Getting here

Highway 90 east through Barrie and south on Highway 400 to Exit 64 is the straightforward route. If you would rather skip Barrie, County Road 10 south through Alliston to Highway 89 and east to the 400 takes roughly the same time on quieter roads.

We are at 444 Holland St W, Unit #2, with free parking. Call 647-333-6805 before you set off if you want us to confirm the drive is worth making.

What people drive
here for.

Published prices are starting prices, confirmed at your consultation. Where nothing is published, the dose and the plan decide the price rather than a menu.

Every injectable here is placed by a licensed nurse, and every plan is signed off by our Medical Director. The consultation is free and comes before anything is booked.

08 · Asked from Angus

Questions we get
from Angus.

Is Barrie closer than you are?

Yes, by roughly twenty minutes, and Barrie has several good clinics. If you want injectables or a facial and nothing more, book in Barrie. We would rather say that than waste your afternoon.

So when is the longer drive worth it?

When you want something Barrie does not have. A naturopathic doctor and medical aesthetics in one building, pelvic floor strengthening, or prescribing handled by a Nurse Practitioner in the same appointment as the assessment.

I am posted to Borden and part way through a treatment plan from my last posting. Can you continue it?

Bring whatever documentation you have, including product names, dosing and dates. We will assess where you are and tell you honestly whether continuing, restarting or stopping is the right call. We will not simply carry on with something we cannot verify.

How long is the drive from Angus?

About 40 minutes either way you go. Highway 90 east into Barrie and down the 400 is the simplest. County Road 10 south through Alliston to Highway 89 avoids Barrie entirely and takes about the same time.

Do you have parking?

Free, in our own lot at 444 Holland St W, Unit #2.

09 · Closer than you think

We are 40 minutes
from your door.

Free parking at the door, and a free consultation before anything is booked. If a treatment is wrong for you, we will say so in the room rather than after you have paid for it.
