Spring is finally here, and that means that we can ditch all the heavy garments, grab the flip flops and head to the nearest beach. But not so fast! After the long, cold winter, your skin is probably still parched from overheating and undernourishment. The heated air, low humidity and little fresh air of winter can leave your skin dry, dull, rough and older, especially in the areas that we neglect, such as the heels, toes, knees and elbows.

Getting rid of dry, dead skin is key to a smoother, softer skin, as it provides your treatment products and moisturizer better access to the pores. However, you should avoid harsh and scratchy exfoliators.
