Lip fillers are used to augment, reshape and enhance the lips. Hylaronic acid is injected into the lips and integrate with the tissue.
Purpose: plump, hydrate and add volume to lips.
Procedure: A Hylaronic acid Filler is injected with a small needle across the lips.
Time: 30 minutes
Results: immediate partial results, full results in 2 weeks.
Recovery: swelling, bruising and redness are expected. Healing takes about 2 weeks.
Lasts: 6-12 months
Fillers: Stylage, Restylane or Juvaderm.
Note: Always avoid getting cosmetic injections if feeling unwell and immune system is weakened.
Pre-procedure instructions: stay away from blood thinners for 3 days prior to injections (Advil, Aspiring, Omega 3’s, etc.). If history of cold sores exist, use Abreva 3 days before injections to prevent outbreak.
Post Procedure: Ice and and take pain medications as needed.
